At Autism Learning Collaborative (ALC), we provide personalized ABA therapy for children with autism between the ages of 18 months to 16 years old. We offer in-home, center-based, and telehealth therapy services throughout Omaha, St. Louis and Albuquerque. If you've been searching for "ABA Therapist near me" in any of those locations, we'd like to welcome you to check out our premier autism treatment centers, and invite you to learn more about us and what we do.
To ensure that our program will meet your child’s individual needs, the first step in our process is to schedule a free tour. At this tour, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will meet with you and your child to better understand your child’s needs. Our team will then create a personalized autism therapy program that will help them build a foundation of skills and unlock their potential.
ALC offers in-home, center-based, and telehealth ABA therapy throughout Albuquerque, Oklahoma City, St. Louis and Omaha. Our therapy programs are data driven, but incorporate a variety of learning techniques such as play-based learning, “table time” activities, and group learning with peers. Our therapy programs work on a variety of skills including:
ABA therapy is the only evidence-based treatment for individuals with autism. Tailored specifically to the individual’s strengths and weaknesses, the behavioral team (comprised of a behavior analyst and behavior therapist) will develop a program to ensure that your child has the skills needed to thrive in all of the following areas: language & communication, social interaction, independent living skills, pre-academic skills, cognitive planning, play, and fine & gross motor skills. The behavior team will routinely check in with you and coordinate care with other members of your child’s team (e.g. teachers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, pediatricians, mental health professionals, etc) to ensure that your child continues to make meaningful progress through our comprehensive autism therapy services.
At Autism Learning Collaborative, we understand that every child learns differently. We also know that every family has different circumstances that may affect treatment. That's why we offer autism spectrum therapies in multiple settings to accommodate a range of needs.
Our autism therapy services include the following.
Set your child up for success with our in-home therapy services. One of our board-certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) will come to your home to implement a program tailored to your child's needs and work one-on-one for a certain number of hours each week.
In-home therapy focuses on daily and family routines, from brushing teeth to eating at the dinner table. We also understand the importance of community, so we can incorporate goals focused on skills for navigating trips to the grocery store, dining out at local restaurants and participating in other community-based activities.
In-home therapy provides a safe, familiar environment for your child. It also allows our behavioral therapists to observe your child in their natural setting and work toward more personalized goals.
What's more, in-home autism therapy services make it easy for you to stay involved in your child's treatment. Our therapists highly encourage family involvement, as these interactions allow them to provide helpful feedback and set more precise goals.
Our centers are ideal settings for early learners requiring more intensive services. A behavior therapist will work with your child one-on-one, teaching them skills for interacting with peers, following instructions, communicating effectively and playing appropriately.
Our center-based therapy provides a structured, controlled environment that closely mirrors traditional schools, including routines and schedules with dedicated time to practice specific skills.
While our center-based therapies are one-on-one and customized to your child's needs, they also allow for interaction with other children, helping to improve social and group skills.
We offer telehealth therapy services for children with the prerequisite skills necessary to succeed in a virtual learning environment. Your child will work one-on-one with a behavior therapist remotely from the comforts of home.
Telehealth autism therapy services allow the therapist to observe your child in their natural environment and see how they typically behave. This option is great for families who don't live near our centers but would like to use our services.
Our telehealth therapy services are also ideal for parents with limited availability. We can provide remote services at your convenience, allowing you to remain involved in your child's treatment.
School is an important environment for a child. It's where they develop, meet other children and build essential social and group skills. If your child needs more support at school, our one-on-one school-based services are the perfect choice. We help students with their behaviors, giving them the focused, individualized assistance they need to thrive in a classroom setting.
We also partner with your child's educational providers to support their staff and coordinate the right care for your child.
Sharing experiences with others and developing friendships is crucial to a child's well-being. When your child participates in our social skills groups, they get to practice their social and group skills in a safe, clinician-guided environment with a small group of their peers.
We introduce and help refine skills like making conversation, cooperating, compromising and taking turns to help your child feel more confident navigating the social sphere. Our ABA therapists assist children much like yours, building and refining their skill sets to unlock the growth that accompanies their full potential.
