“I’m not someone who typically goes out of their way to post a google review, but this was not only well deserved, but much needed to help parents out there that could benefit from the resources ALC provides.

In case anyone from ALC sees this, I do hope you provide recognition to each individual that has worked with my son. I’d love for them to get a raise, even free valas tickets at the minimum would be something you should provide them!”

Meet The Clinic Director Of West Omaha, NE

Alexa Nippa, Clinical Director – West Omaha, Nebraska

Alexa began her journey in applied behavior analysis when she enrolled in the behavior analysis and therapy graduate program at Ball State University in 2018, having previously completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Alexa provided in-home ABA services in Chicago for over seven years before enrolling in graduate school, and now has over 12 years of experience launching clinic-based services in Chicago and Nebraska to better meet the needs of those communities. She is inspired by the clients that she gets to work with and the families that share a part of their lives with their team. She values that each person she has worked with has taught her to look at life in a different way, to look at problems in a different way, to realize some things aren’t problems, and to celebrate the journey.

Outside of work you can find Alexa enjoying time with her family on the lake, finding vintage treasures at local thrift stores, or wandering the aisles of Target and letting the bullseye tell her what to buy.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is ABA therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the gold standard, evidence-based, scientific approach to understanding behavior. ABA therapy applies these principles to help individuals, typically those with autism, learn new skills, modify challenging behaviors, and generalize skills across different environments. We are proud to offer effective ABA therapy that Omaha families trust.

  • How long does a typical therapy session last?

Session length can vary greatly depending on the child’s individualized treatment plan, age, and insurance authorization, but they often range from 2 to 6 hours per day. Our personalized approach ensures your child in Nebraska receives the optimal duration of care.

  • Is parent training mandatory?

Yes, caregiver training is an essential component of successful ABA therapy. Working closely with families and other community members ensures that your child has the support they need to generalize new skills outside of our clinic. This commitment to family involvement is key to our successful autism therapy Omaha programs.

  • Do you offer services for children of all ages?

Our programs are tailored for various age groups. Please contact us at (402) 432-0377 to discuss your child’s specific age and needs and learn how we can start their journey with ABA therapy in Nebraska.
